Sloan's Amara pale ale

Amara is a “Best Bitter” which is a type of Pale Ale, originating from England in the 1600s. In 1930s it became a fashionable, lighter, and lower ABV, known as a high quality premium beer, and “Best” bitter was designed to be stronger than an original bitter.

The irony is that it does not have a bitter taste, but has refreshing light hoppy and subtle fruity, caramel taste which you will savour.

Sloan’s Amara Pale ale is brewed with the best quality hops and malt to produce a premium beer at our state of the art brewery, brewed under British standards and by an experienced English brew master.

Due to having an ABV of 4.2%, Sloan’s Amara is classed as a “session beer”. A beer that can be consumed over an extended social gathering without causing rapid intoxication and is ideal to be serviced with food, as it cleans the pallet and compliments your meal. See food pairing.

By design the beer is lightly carbonated avoiding that bloated, full effect of lagers and other highly carbonated beers.

Notably in Thailand, when we explained it was a Best Bitter, many focused on the word bitter, which turned them off. But when we told them it was a Pale Ale, all were happy to try.
